Direct Selling Compliance / Code of Conduct
Last updated: 15 Sep 2026

Extra Life operates as a direct-selling business offering Detergent Powder through a network of independent members. This Direct Selling Compliance & Code of Conduct is intended to align our practices with the spirit of India's Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules, 2021, and to set clear expectations for how members must represent Extra Life and interact with customers and other members.
1. Nature of the Business
Extra Life is a genuine product-based direct-selling business. Membership entitles you to purchase and resell/use Detergent Powder and to earn commissions on qualifying registrations and repurchases within your network, as described in our Terms of Service and Income Disclosure Statement. Extra Life is not, and must never be operated by any member as, a scheme where compensation is based solely on recruitment of new participants without a genuine product being sold or used.
2. Member Obligations
As an Extra Life member, you agree to:
- Represent Extra Life, its products, and its compensation structure honestly, without exaggerated income claims, false product claims, or misleading statements;
- Clearly identify yourself as an independent Extra Life member (not an employee) when engaging in sales or recruitment activity;
- Provide prospective members with accurate information, including a copy of or link to our Terms of Service, Income Disclosure Statement, and this Code of Conduct, before they register;
- Respect the "no pressure" principle — never coerce, harass, or unduly pressure any person to register, purchase, or repurchase product;
- Comply with all applicable Indian laws, including consumer protection and direct-selling regulations, in the course of your activities.
3. Right to Cancel & Cooling-Off Period
If you have registered as a new member, you may cancel your membership within 7 days of approval by notifying us in writing (see contact details below), without needing to give a reason. Where you have taken delivery of product as part of your registration and wish to cancel within this period, please refer to our Refund Policy and Shipping/Pickup Policy for the applicable product-return conditions.
4. Buy-Back of Unsold, Resalable Inventory
Where a member has purchased product for resale and, within a reasonable period, wishes to exit the business, Extra Life will consider a reasonable buy-back of genuinely unsold, unopened, and resalable product inventory, subject to verification, at a fair value to be communicated at the time of the request. This is separate from and in addition to the product replacement terms in our Refund Policy, which address damaged or defective product.
5. Prohibited Practices
Members must not:
- Guarantee or promise any specific income or return to a prospective or existing member;
- Charge any prospective member an entry fee, joining fee, or any amount other than the official registration/repurchase fee set by Extra Life;
- Create or operate any account other than their own, or register a member without that person's informed knowledge and consent;
- Engage in "front-loading" — pressuring a new member to purchase more product than they can reasonably use or resell.
6. Enforcement
Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in a warning, suspension, or termination of membership, forfeiture of commissions arising from the violation, and — where applicable — reporting to the relevant regulatory authority, in accordance with our Terms of Service.
7. Grievances
Any complaint regarding a member's conduct, or regarding Extra Life's own practices, should be raised through our Grievance Redressal Policy.
